There are a couple of ways you can earn your MBA at UNB. You can enter into the Foundation Year and upon completion of this, you will receive a diploma. The following year you have the choice to customize your studies and earn your degree through a general MBA or a Professional Track. If you qualify, you could choose to enter directly into a Professional Track without doing the Foundation Year first. Upon completion you will receive a diploma. You still have the option of doing the Foundation Year upon completion of which you will earn your MBA degree. Our MBA program offers students a professional, experienced and modern outlook on the business world of today.

STUDENT INVESTMENT PROGRAM
If a career in finance and investment is in your future, this program might be what you need to get the valuable knowledge and understanding that only hands-on experience can give you. This flagship program is offered to selected students who are entering their fourth year of the BBA program or their second year of the MBA program. The combination of practical investing experience and an integrated study preparation for on one of the most desirable of financial designations - the Chartered Financial Analyst - eases students' transition from university to a career in the global financial industry. Since the program began in 2998 students in this program have increased the value of the fund from $1 million to over $2 million. This year a team of Student Investment Fund students won 1st prize in the North American championship at the second annual Global Investment Research Challenge; they placed 2nd in the Global championship.
EXPORT PARTNERING PROGRAM
See your export-marketing strategy come to life! Fourth year BBA students and second-year MBA students are matched with small- to medium-sized businesses in Atlantic Canada to develop an export-marketing strategy targeted at the New England States. In the spring, all this hard work culminates in a trade mission, where students and partnering companies learn firsthand how well their export-marketing strategy works.
CIBC BUISNESS PLAN COMPETITION
Teams of graduate and undergraduate university levels compete for over $20,000 in prize money. Based on finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship, our judges determine the grand prize winner in each category. Other prizes include the best elevator pitch, the best financials and the best vodcast.
FUTURES ATLANTIC SYMPOSIUM
The futures Atlantic Symposium is one of the most energetic collaborative initiatives to emerge from our Centre for Financial Studies. It combines a recruitment opportunity by national financial firms for university graduates in Atlantic Canada, with a strong two-day financially focused learning agenda.
MBA CONSULTING GROUP
This program enables students to apply their problem solving and creative thinking skills as consultants for a business in the community, while simultaneously earning credit towards their degree.
ACTIVATOR ™ (MBA WITH CONCENTRATION IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP)
Our Activator program provides valuable hands-on experience with a start-u0p venture, allowing MBA students to acquire the skills necessary for a business career, even if they are not planning on becoming entrepreneurs. Students act as team leaders working on behalf of an entrepreneur of a real-life startup to whom they are matched, thus developing leadership skills while receiving guidance from members of the business administration faculty. Students travel to various networking hotspots, receive advice from a business mentor, and have the opportunity to receive a fellowship. Due to the course work in this program, students graduate with a concentration in entrepreneurship.

During your Professional Year in our MBA program you can choose to complete a general MBA or you can enter into one of our customized Professional Tracks which include the following:

If you choose to the complete the General MBA, you can earn a Concentration in Entrepreneurship through our Activator ™ Program.
